Hankook Tire and Helinox unveil a collaborative product using high-performance tire compounds

Hankook Tire & Technology Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Cho Hyun-Bum and Lee Sang-Hoon), a global leading tire company under Hankook & Company Group, has unveiled a new camping chair accessory ‘Ball-Feet’, developed in collaboration with Korean outdoor brand Helinox. The product applies high-performance racing tire compound technology, blending expertise from both brands to create a unique, innovation-driven item.

This collaboration brings together two brands known for delivering best-in-class performance at the point of ground contact. By using camping as the theme, the partnership aims to embed Hankook’s cutting-edge technology into everyday experiences, offering a joyful and immersive brand touchpoint. It also reinforces Hankook’s premium image by aligning with Helinox, a brand with strong recognition in the global camping and outdoor space.

The Ball-Feet is designed to prevent chair legs from sinking or slipping on soft ground during outdoor use. Thanks to its integration of top-tier tire compound technology, the accessory provides exceptional grip and durability, delivering enhanced comfort and stability in camping and mobile settings.

The product also features a composite logo symbolizing the Hankook x Helinox collaboration, engraved into the upper surface. The midsection incorporates a design inspired by Hankook’s Dynapro XT off-road SUV tire tread, offering a distinct rugged aesthetic that resonates with outdoor enthusiasts.

Notably, the Ball-Feet is an upcycled product, repurposing leftover tire compounds from the racing tire production process — a testament to Hankook’s ongoing innovation in sustainable business practices and ESG leadership.

The collaboration product is available at Helinox Creative Centers (HCC) located in Seoul, Busan, and Jeju, as well as on the official Helinox online store.
