Helinox Crafts Aluminum Be@rbrick Figures - From Hypebeast

For its first-ever collaboration with Medicom Toy, South Korean outdoor label Helinox announces a limited series of 50 BE@RBRICKs crafted from aluminium.

Dressed in Helinox’s distinctive cyan blues, this partnership marks the first time a BE@RBRICK figure has been made from aluminium, the most abundant metallic element on Earth, and a foundational substance for the brand’s various portable furniture pieces and accessories. The 400% figure features a simple design, displaying a full blue coat with the brand’s eclipse logo placed subtly on the chest and serial numbers 1 through 50 found on the foot of each piece, adding to its exclusivity. Additional add-ons include a Field Office Carry Case, which serves as a BE@BRICK carrier.

“The collaboration is the result of a challenging multiyear effort to create the BE@RBRICK figure in our signature cyan blue aluminium alloy, a project that we hope will bring enjoyment to Helinox and BE@RBRICK fans alike,” says Young Lah, CEO of Helinox. Look for the Helinox x Medicom Toy BE@BRICK to release on June 24 via the Helinox Korea website, HCC Seoul, HCC Busan, HCC Tokyo, and select Medicom Toy retail stores. A special video showcasing the production process will be presented at the intersection of Meiji Street and Omotesando in Harajuku, Tokyo, from the 18th to 30th of June 2022.
